Senior SRE
Location: Remote Job Type: Contract
Lead SRE efforts to establish and maintain platform reliability, API governance, and scalable infrastructure for high-availability services. Collaborate across engineering teams to implement SRE practices, error budgets, and API standards that ensure system reliability at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement highly available, scalable SLIs/SLOs, and error budgets for cloud infrastructure.
- Create comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions using Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK stack.
- Lead incident response, post-mortems, and root cause analysis for production issues.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years in DevOps/SRE roles with strong experience in Python, Java, GCP, AWS, or Azure cloud provisioning and optimization.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on with IaC tools like Terraform, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD), and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
Preferred Qualifications
- Cloud Solutions Architect or DevOps certification.
- Experience with FinOps, multi-cloud cost optimization, and SRE governance frameworks (SRE API Governance).
