Bring your expertise as a licensed Occupational Therapist to a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students across two vibrant educational sites in the Rockford, IL area. This role offers the unique chance to work within school communities, providing vital OT services to diverse age groups—placement is thoughtfully assigned based on your preference for early childhood, elementary, middle, or high school students. The position is structured for a full 37.5-hour work week, following the standard school day schedule, and involves spending each day on-site at one location without inter-campus travel during school hours.
What we’re looking for:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in Illinois
- Previous experience in school settings or pediatric care strongly preferred
- Familiarity with sensory integration techniques, goal setting, and progress monitoring for school-aged children
- Demonstrated ability to support students in general education, resource settings, and some self-contained special education classrooms
