Key Responsibilities:

Equipment Operation:

• Safe and efficient operation of advanced material handling equipment including turret, cherry picker, automated robots, reach trucks, double electric pallet jack and conveyor operators.
• Safely load, unload, and transport and stock materials and products to designated locations within the facility.
• Extensive experience across multiple Warehouse/Fulfillment departments and advanced knowledge of equipment operations including previous certifications, work experience.

Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while operating equipment.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and report any issues to the maintenance department.
• Operate equipment to comply with OSHA and other relevant safety standards.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor- follow all protocols including LO/TO, equipment inspections, etc

Inventory Management:

• Assist with inventory control, including counting, recording, and organizing stock.
• Collaborate with inventory teams to manage the storage and retrieval of products accurately.

Efficiency and Productivity:

• Follow optimal/standardized material handling processes to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations.
• Responsible/accurate equipment operations practices to minimize damages, incidents, outs or inventory errors due to your assigned work.
• Operate the swing reach/turret equipment, case pick merchandise using the cherry picker and perform other functions such as shuttles and loading/receiving.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in advanced material handling equipment operations or ability to attain internal certifications following hiring.
• Availability to work flexible hours when required to support the business
• Strong performance history, attendance, safety, behavioral
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficient record-keeping abilities.

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including lifting and moving heavy materials up to 50 lbs.
• Adaptability to different types of material handling equipment and systems.
