Restaurant Operations Manager

Established Charleston Brunch Restaurant | $62K–$70K + Performance Bonus up to $8k

We're looking for an experienced, hands-on Restaurant Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy, established brunch restaurant.

This is a working management position for someone who can lead people, run service, manage systems, understand the numbers, and make sure standards and procedures are consistently followed.

You should be equally comfortable reviewing labor, coaching an employee, working expo during a rush, checking restaurant standards, coordinating a repair, or jumping onto the floor when needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations
• Lead FOH staff and shift managers
• Manage scheduling, staffing and labor
• Assist with hiring, onboarding and training
• Coach employees and address performance issues
• Ensure established HR policies and procedures are followed
• Maintain service, cleanliness and operational standards
• Ensure opening, closing and management procedures are completed
• Manage expo and restaurant flow during high-volume service
• Handle guest concerns and service recovery
• Monitor inventory, purchasing and cost controls
• Coordinate maintenance and vendors
• Maintain health, safety and compliance standards
• Review key operating numbers and identify areas needing attention
• Communicate operational issues and follow-up clearly with ownership

We're Looking For

• 3+ years restaurant management experience preferred
• Strong FOH experience with working knowledge of BOH operations
• High-volume restaurant experience
• Comfortable working expo
• Experience with scheduling and labor management
• Comfortable coaching and holding employees accountable
• Organized, proactive and dependable
• Strong communication and follow-through
• Comfortable working with restaurant KPIs and operating numbers
• Able to stay calm and effective during high-volume service

Compensation: $62,000–$70,000 based on experience + performance-based bonus opportunity up to 8k year

Benefits: $300/month health reimbursement + 2 weeks paid vacation, 401k matching

Schedule: Full-time; weekend availability required - Aprox 45-50 hours (2 days off)
