Activities Assistant
Job Summary:
Cedar Hill Nursing and Rehab Center, a leading long-term care facility in Jacksonville, Florida, is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Activities Assistant to join our dynamic team. As an Activities Assistant , you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by creating engaging activities and promoting socialization. Responsibilities:
Follow activities calendar to ensure a comprehensive program for residents
Encourage resident participation and engagement in activities
Follow resident's plan of care regarding activities, including completing room visits/1:1 visits
Update the activity log for each resident daily
Collaborate with the Activities Director to update activities based on resident preferences
Perform duties in a fast-paced environment, working some evenings or weekends as needed

Ability to pass level 2 fingerprinting with an Eligible status
