About Hudson's

Hudson's Restaurant & Catering is a family-owned and operated restaurant led by brothers JJ and Kevin Altomare, graduates of The Culinary Institute of America . For the past 19 years, we've built our reputation around quality food, creative menus, and memorable guest experiences in Northeast Ohio.

In addition to our year-round restaurant and catering operation, we create immersive seasonal concepts including Nightmare Before Blitzen's, Blitzen's, and O'Blitzen's . These high-volume pop-ups give our culinary team the opportunity to work with unique menus in an energetic, creative environment.
The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Line Cook who knows how to run a station and takes pride in doing it well .

This is a great fit for a cook who is comfortable in a busy kitchen, understands the importance of consistency and organization, and wants to work alongside experienced culinary professionals.

We value cooks who can think ahead, communicate with the team, stay composed during a rush, and consistently put out food they're proud to serve.
What You'll Do

• Execute menu items accurately and consistently during high-volume service
• Set up, organize, and maintain your station for efficient execution
• Follow established recipes, plating standards, and portion specifications
• Maintain strong ticket times without sacrificing food quality
• Communicate effectively with chefs, fellow cooks, and front-of-house staff
• Assist with prep, receiving, inventory, and restocking as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workspace
• Help uphold the standards and professionalism of the Hudson's kitchen

What We're Looking For

Restaurant line experience is strongly preferred. We're especially interested in cooks who bring:

• Solid knife skills and fundamental cooking techniques
• Experience working a station during busy service
• Strong organization and mise en place habits
• An understanding of food quality, consistency, and presentation
• The ability to stay focused and productive under pressure
• Dependability and a strong work ethic
• Good communication and a team-first attitude
• A genuine interest in food and continuing to develop your craft

Culinary school experience is welcome but not required . What matters most is your ability, attitude, reliability, and pride in your work.
