BI/Data Architect

BI/Data ArchitectThe client is seeking an experienced Data Architect for an immediate contract engagement. This is a hands-on role requiring active involvement in both development and solution architecture. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Snowflake, Oracle-based environments, enterprise data warehousing, and Power BI solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise data warehouse and ELT/ETL architecturesBuild and optimize data pipelines using Snowflake, Fivetran, dbt, and/or MatillionWork within Oracle environments and integrate Oracle EBS data into Snowflake platformsDevelop data models, transformation logic, and enterprise reporting solutionsSupport Power BI Premium/Fabric implementations and enterprise BI initiativesCollaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and define scalable solutionsEnsure data quality, performance optimization, governance, and architectural standardsCreate and maintain technical documentation, standards, and best practicesParticipate in hands-on development, troubleshooting, and deployment activitiesRequired Skills8+ years of experience in Data Architecture and Data WarehousingExpert-level experience with SnowflakeStrong experience with Power BI Premium/Fabric in enterprise environmentsHands-on experience working in Oracle environments using Snowflake for ETL processesExperience building scalable ELT/ETL pipelines using Fivetran, dbt, and/or MatillionStrong understanding of Oracle EBS backend tables and data relationshipsExperience with enterprise data modeling, transformation, and integrationExcellent communication and documentation skillsNice to HaveExperience integrating AI-driven features into BI solutionsExposure to predictive analytics, Copilot, or automated insightsExperience working with Marketing, Paid Media, or E-commerce dataFamiliarity with Snowflake Intelligence or Cortex AI for natural language insightsPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fieldStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently in fast-paced enterprise environments Kasmo Global
