Graduate Nurse Resident (GN/RN) - Surgical (FT, Nights)

Monitors and coordinates patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort. Position Details: Graduate Nurse Resident or Registered Nurse Location: Mercy Hospital Southeast, Cape Girardeau, MO Department: 5H Surgical Status: Full-Time - 36 hours/week Shift: 12 Hour Nights (1900 - 0730) Experienced RN Incentives:

Qualifications:

• Experience: None required.
• Required Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current Missouri RN license and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire. Other unit specific certifications as required or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe.

• Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
