Construction Coordinator

The Department of Ecology is hiring a Central Region Well Construction Coordinator (Hydrogeologist 3 In-Training) to manage well construction enforcement and compliance across seven counties in central Washington. The position involves conducting technical analysis, investigating violations, administering licensing tests, and providing expertise on well construction laws and regulations. This role combines field and office work with flexible telework options, based in Union Gap, WA. Key qualifications: Six to seven years of experience in hydrogeology-related work depending on level Education with major study in hydrogeology, hydrology, geology, or closely allied field Washington State Geologist license and Hydrogeologist specialty license (required at HG3 level) Technical skills in communication, problem-solving, regulatory application, investigation, and collaboration Knowledge of geology and hydrogeologic issues in central Washington; experience with GIS software #J-18808-Ljbffr
