Job Overview:

Pay Range: $25.00hr - $27.00hr

Requirement/Must Have:

• Insurance experience.
• Patient appointment scheduling experience.
• Healthcare front desk experience including check-in, check-out, and managing phone calls.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Maintains a clean and professional appearance.
• Customer service skills.
• 1+ years of healthcare experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate clinic schedules and assist with managing patient appointments and follow-up care.
• Answer patient phone calls and take accurate messages.
• Verify insurance benefits.
• Provide general administrative and clerical support to the clinic.
• Work closely with physicians, patients, and multidisciplinary care teams to ensure a seamless patient experience.
• Serve as a liaison between the clinic and referring physicians.
• Greet and check in patients upon arrival in a friendly and professional manner.
• Verify patient demographics, contact information, and required documentation.
• Collect required forms, signatures, and copayments according to clinic procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient information within the electronic medical record (EMR) or scheduling system.
• Communicate with clinical staff regarding patient arrivals, scheduling changes, and delays.
• Help maintain an organized patient flow and waiting area.
• Protect patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA and organizational privacy requirements.

Nice to Have:

• 2-5 years of experience in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Vascular experience.
