Warehouse Operations Lead

As a Warehouse Operations Lead, you will drive the efficiency of our distribution and logistics workflow by overseeing daily shipping, receiving, and inventory accuracy. You will serve as a hands-on leader, guiding a small team while ensuring that all material handling and documentation processes meet our high standards for operational excellence. Responsibilities Direct daily warehouse activities, including the prioritization of shipping and receiving tasks to meet production deadlines. Provide mentorship and leadership to a dedicated team, fostering a culture of safety and high performance. Manage the end-to-end logistics process, including carrier coordination and the preparation of accurate freight documentation such as bills of lading. Operate heavy equipment, including forklifts and clamp trucks, to ensure the safe movement and storage of raw materials and finished goods. Maintain rigorous inventory control through regular cycle counts and the prompt resolution of stock discrepancies. Optimize warehouse organization and workflow to enhance overall facility productivity and safety compliance. Provide active, hands-on support on the warehouse floor to ensure seamless operations during peak demand periods. Required Skills Proven experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management. Demonstrated success in a supervisory or team-lead capacity. Proficiency in operating forklifts and clamp trucks in an industrial setting. Strong technical aptitude with inventory management software and Microsoft Office. Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across departments. High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Skills 3+ years of experience within a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial environment. Current certification for powered industrial trucks. Advanced knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and cycle counting methodologies. Associate degree in logistics, supply chain, or a related field. #J-18808-Ljbffr
