Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit, supporting vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, amniocentesis, amnioinfusions, and IUPC/FSE placements
• Interpret fetal monitoring strips and respond appropriately to changes in maternal and fetal status
• Perform vaginal exams and initiate IVs, draw labs, and manage epidural and IV pumps
• Serve as OB circulator in the operating room as needed
• Utilize electronic medical record systems (CPN, Meditech) for accurate and timely documentation
• Rotate every other weekend and participate in possible circulator call as required

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience
• Proficiency in IV insertion and lab draws
• Ability to interpret fetal monitoring strips
• Proficiency in vaginal exams and OB circulator duties
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Ability to scrub for cesarean sections
• Organized, detail-oriented, and strong time management skills with an empathetic and compassionate patient care approach
