Are you ready to maximize your potential with us?The PositionThe Strategic Finance team runs the annual update of the Long-Term Forecast (LTF) for North America Operations (NAO). The process relies on collaboration with cross-functional subject matter experts, high level of market understanding and excellent analytical capabilities to develop and maintain complex forecasting models. Leads development of financial analysis for internal development options based on a holistic market view including scenario modelling and trade-off analysis to provide strategic recommendations across the Novo Nordisk portfolio. Supports evaluation of external business development opportunities.RelationshipsReports to the Director of Strategic Finance. Internal interactions includes stakeholders across the NAO organisation as well as global counterparts to ensure long-term forecast coordination across Novo Nordisk. External relationships may include interactions with various subject matter experts and vendors based on the needs of special projects or implementation of new programs.Essential FunctionsSupports and drives Long-Term Forecast process for a therapeutic areaResponsible for maintaining Long-Term forecasting model and other financial modelling toolsDrives long-term financial analysis within therapeutic area including scenario modelling, trade-off analysis and preparation of recommendationSupports evaluation of external business development opportunities within therapeutic area and provide support as needed for cross therapeutic area portfolio reviewResponsible for monitoring and raising key market events impacting therapeutic area to the attention of the teamCollaborates with counterparts across Marketing, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Insights & Analytics and FP&A teamsSeen as a team player by all stakeholdersPhysical Requirements0-10% overnight travel required.QualificationsA Bachelor 's degree in Accounting, Finance and or relevant field of study is required, advanced degree is preferredA minimum of 2 years of progressively relevant commercial planning, financial planning, strategic planning, merger and acquisition or consultancy experience required. Two years of relevant experience may be substituted for a Masters or other advanced degreesFunctional expert in Excel and PowerPoint. Hands-on experience with financial modelling and/or sales forecasting strongly preferredDemonstrated quantitative expertise in structuring complex financial analysis based on a variety of data sourcesHolistic thinker with ability to analyse and interpret complex problemsAbility to collaborate across all functions and levels; ability to communicate effectively and efficiently to financial and non-financial peersDemonstrated ability to manage competing prioritiesThe base compensation range for this position is $83,400 to $150,200. Base compensation is determined based on a number of factors. This position is also eligible for a company bonus based on individual and company performance.
