SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Developer Atlanta, Georgia (Hybrid) Contract CANDIDATES MUST BE CURRENTLY LOCAL TO ATLANTA.

Our client is seeking a Senior SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Developer with strong experience in SAP Ariba Guided Buying and SAP Forms development to support enterprise procurement transformation initiatives.

This role will focus on designing, developing, customizing, integrating, and deploying SAP Forms and BTP-based procurement solutions that enhance SAP Ariba Guided Buying and SAP S/4HANA capabilities across the enterprise.

The ideal candidate combines hands-on SAP BTP development expertise with strong integration and procurement workflow experience, and can collaborate effectively with technical teams, procurement stakeholders, and enterprise architects to deliver scalable, secure, and compliant solutions.

What You Will Be Doing

• Designing, configuring, customizing, and deploying SAP Forms used within SAP Ariba Guided Buying procurement workflows
• Developing custom form logic, validations, dynamic fields, and approval workflows aligned with business and compliance requirements
• Supporting Guided Buying catalogs, request types, approval flows, and procurement data capture processes
• Developing and maintaining extensions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
• Building integrations between SAP Ariba, SAP S/4HANA, and third-party systems using SAP Integration Suite (CPI), APIs, OData, REST, and SOAP services
• Developing custom services and applications using Java, Node.js, SAP CAP, and SAPUI5/Fiori technologies
• Supporting workflow automation initiatives leveraging SAP Build Process Automation and Workflow Management
• Participating in testing, deployments, release planning, transport management, and post-production support
• Creating technical documentation, integration mappings, and solution design artifacts
• Collaborating with functional analysts, procurement stakeholders, integration teams, and security teams to deliver enterprise procurement solutions

Required Skills & Experience

• 5-7+ years of SAP development experience with hands-on SAP BTP exposure
• Direct experience with SAP Ariba Guided Buying and SAP Forms customization/development
• Strong experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
• Experience building integrations using SAP Integration Suite (CPI)
• Strong understanding of APIs, OData services, REST, SOAP, and SAP integration patterns
• Experience with Java or Node.js development
• Experience supporting SAP procurement and workflow solutions
• Understanding of Agile / iterative software delivery methodologies
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model)
• SAPUI5 / Fiori development experience
• Experience integrating SAP Ariba with SAP S/4HANA Procurement
• Exposure to SAP Build Apps and SAP Build Process Automation
• Familiarity with clean core and side-by-side extensibility strategies
• Git-based version control and CI/CD concepts
• Experience supporting public sector, education, or regulated-industry environments
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG/ADA) and compliance requirements
• SAP certifications including BTP, Ariba, Integration Suite, or S/4HANA are a plus
