Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Deliver diagnostic excellence—performing high-quality nuclear medicine procedures with precision, safety, and compassion while keeping patients at the center of every exam.
At SimonMed, diagnostic quality starts with you. Our Nuclear Medicine Technologists play a vital role in delivering the advanced outpatient imaging our patients and providers rely on. From administering radiopharmaceuticals to producing accurate diagnostic images and ensuring patient safety, this role sits at the intersection of clinical expertise, advanced technology, and meaningful patient care.
We are looking for a technologist who takes pride in producing diagnostically sound studies, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and brings professionalism and empathy to every patient interaction. If you value precision, accountability, and collaborative clinical care, this is where you belong.
Precision and clinical expertise: You perform high-quality nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with physician orders—administering radiopharmaceuticals, conducting imaging studies, and producing clear diagnostic images that clinicians depend on.
Diagnostic accuracy and quality control: You evaluate images for technical quality, process and analyze data, and ensure imaging equipment is properly calibrated and functioning at all times.
Mastery of safety and compliance: You follow all radiation safety protocols, apply ALARA principles, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations while maintaining a safe work environment.
Patient-centered care: You guide patients through each procedure—providing clear explanations, monitoring their condition throughout the exam, and ensuring their safety, comfort, and confidence at every step.
Workflow ownership and organization: You manage documentation, maintain accurate patient records, monitor inventory of radiopharmaceuticals and supplies, and ensure all materials are ready for efficient daily operations.
Collaboration and teamwork: You work closely with radiologists, physicians, and clinical teams to support accurate diagnoses and optimal patient outcomes.
Mentorship and professionalism: You support student technologists during clinical rotations—providing hands-on training and reinforcing best practices in patient care, safety, and technical performance.
Purpose-driven work: Your expertise directly contributes to accurate diagnoses and patient care—helping physicians detect and treat disease through advanced imaging.
A collaborative clinical environment: Join a team committed to maintaining high standards, strong communication, and shared accountability in patient care.
Consistency and work-life balance: Enjoy the stability of outpatient imaging with predictable workflows and a focus on efficiency and quality.
Growth opportunities: As SimonMed continues to expand, opportunities for advancement, cross-training, and career development are readily available.
