Beacon Hill is partnering with a Chicago-based sustainable energy company on a Technical Recruiter contract opening supporting a highly visible and collaborative Talent Acquisition team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, wants exposure to leadership, and can step in and make an immediate impact. This team is busy, growing, and incredibly hands-on, they are looking for someone who can jump in, take ownership, and help drive technical hiring forward. What you will be doing Own full-cycle recruiting for technical roles, primarily focused on DevOps, engineering, and IT Partner closely with hiring managers to define hiring strategies and move searches forward efficiently Source, screen, and evaluate candidates across technical disciplines Manage multiple open requisitions and build strong, active pipelines Coordinate interviews, feedback, and offers while ensuring a strong candidate experience Provide regular updates to stakeholders, including participation in weekly team and executive reporting What they are looking for 5+ years of recruiting experience, with a strong focus on technical roles Experience recruiting for IT, engineering, infrastructure, or DevOps talent Strong sourcing skills including passive outreach and Boolean Comfortable working directly with hiring managers and leadership Highly organized with the ability to manage a high req load Strong communication skills, this is a very collaborative and high-visibility environment What makes this opportunity stand out High-impact role with immediate ownership of technical hiring Tight-knit, communicative TA team with strong leadership exposure Opportunity to contribute to broader initiatives like onboarding and campus recruiting Consistent hiring pipeline with a goal of filling multiple roles per week Clear path to add value beyond just recruiting Additional details 12-month contract with potential for extension Target start date July 1, flexible for the right person Primarily onsite in Chicago, 4 days per week Interviews include a virtual round followed by onsite Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.
