Key Responsibilities Design and implement individualized care plans that address the specific needs of each patient while considering their orthopedic conditions. Engage actively with patients to promote adherence to therapy regimes, ensuring maximum participation in their rehabilitation journey. Utilize advanced evaluation techniques and outcome measurement tools to assess progress and effectiveness of treatment. Efficiently document all evaluations, treatments, re-evaluations, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices. Continuously assess and reinterpret patient data to tailor treatment approaches as needed, accommodating age-specific requirements and any comorbidities that may be present. Foster a positive and encouraging environment that promotes patient comfort and openness during therapy sessions. Patient Population / Client Focus As a Physical Therapist at Empower Move, you will work with a diverse clientele, primarily focusing on individuals with orthopedic and neurological conditions. Your patients will range from post-operative surgical cases to those experiencing chronic pain issues or mobility impairments. Understanding the unique challenges and recovery pathways of each patient will be crucial to their rehabilitation success. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: A Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited program in physical therapy. Maintain a current Physical Therapist license in the State of Florida; a temporary permit is acceptable. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or equivalent healthcare provider certification. Preferred Experience While relevant experience is appreciated, we strongly encourage new graduates to apply. Candidates with previous experience in home health settings or those who have worked with orthopedic populations may be given preference, especially if they are familiar with the associated documentation and treatment protocols. Compensation and Benefits This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 per year, depending on experience.
