Bilingual Licensed Therapist (Spanish) – School-Based

Part-Time | 30hrs/week, Mon-Fri 1:00PM-7:00PM

Salary: $61,000-$68,000/yr

We are currently seeking a Bilingual Licensed Therapist (fluent in Spanish) to provide culturally responsive mental health services to students and families in a school-based setting. This part-time role is a great fit for a therapist who wants to make a direct impact in a bilingual community.

What You'll Do:

• Provide clinical oversight for students with mental health, substance use, or behavioral conditions
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans, Relapse Prevention Plans, and Support Plans
• Deliver individual, family, and group counseling in English and Spanish
• Run therapy groups and provide crisis intervention and daily living support
• Coordinate care with schools, families, and outside providers; attend CSE meetings as needed
• Advocate for students' rights, cultural needs, and access to appropriate care
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation

What You'll Need:

• Master's degree in a human services field
• Active licensure as an LMSW, LCSW, or LMHC (candidates without licensure may be considered with an educational agreement)
• Fluency in Spanish required
• At least 1 year of experience working with outside treatment providers and mental health professionals
• Valid NYS driver's license

The day-to-day demands of this role require an extreme level of patience and de-escalation that may not align with your personal strengths or current coping strategies.
