Job Description Job Description Job Overview This role is essential for the integration and efficient functioning of productive dental teams across various locations. Collaborating closely with the Chief Dental Officer, VP of Clinical Performance, Chief Field Operations, Regional Dental Directors, and District Managers, the individual in this position will be responsible for coaching and mentoring all dental professionals, overseeing personnel management, enhancing client and patient relations, and serving as a role model for office teams. Travel within the district is a requirement. Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with all governmental and state dental board regulations, including CMS, HIPAA, and OSHA standards. Collaborate with the Chief Dental Officer to follow up on compliance and office audits within the CPM Audit Process. Develop, coach, train, and mentor dental professionals to help them achieve their performance potential, especially during the onboarding and ramp-up phases for new doctors. Focus on doctor engagement and retention, particularly for those at risk due to performance issues, dissatisfaction, or contemplating departure. Coordinate with the Regional Dental Director to determine the balance between chair days and administrative/mentoring days based on the number of offices and doctors in the district. Ensure adherence to diagnostic and preventive guidelines set by the ADA and AAPD, including Caries Risk Assessment (CRA), appropriate radiograph numbers (ALERA principle), and sealant application. Work closely with office teams to guarantee effective program management, comprehensive staff training, development and execution of SMART plans, and maintenance of customer service standards. Collaborate with Talent Acquisition during the selection and onboarding processes. Engage in community events, including dental school meetings, board member gatherings, and dental association activities, to represent the organization within the dental and local communities. Manage weekly doctor scheduling in partnership with the District Manager to meet patient demand, including appropriate management of paid time off (PTO). Qualifications Preferred candidates will have over 5 years of management experience, ideally within a multi-site dental practice involving both dentists and staff. A DDS or DMD degree from a dental education program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation is required. A strong sense of compassion and a genuine desire to provide dental care to both children and adults. Working Conditions Travel within the district is necessary for this role, and the position requires a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and team performance.
