About the Role

We're looking for a customer-focused Pharmacy Technician to join our growing team! In this hybrid role, you'll help patients receive their medications on time, coordinate deliveries, verify insurance information, and provide exceptional support throughout their treatment journey.

What You'll Do

Answer patient and caregiver calls regarding medication deliveries and supplies
Support patients by providing excellent customer service and ongoing assistance
Process medication and supply orders accurately and efficiently
Verify insurance coverage, benefits, and payment information
Update patient records and order information across multiple systems
Document patient concerns and escalate clinical issues when needed
Work closely with pharmacists, nurses, and healthcare professionals
Track shipments and ensure timely medication delivery
Maintain accuracy, organization, and compliance with pharmacy standards
What We're Looking For

Active Illinois Pharmacy Technician License (Required)
Minimum 1 year of pharmacy experience
High School Diploma or GED
Strong customer service and data entry skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT)
• Specialty Pharmacy experience
• Call Center experience
• Bilingual skills

Training & Schedule

Onsite training for 2-4 weeks (total training 2-6 weeks)
Available Shifts:

• 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
• 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Training and onboarding are Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elk Grove Village, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
