Job Summary
The Medical Surgical Nurse (Medical Surgical Floor) position is located in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. This role involves providing patient care on a Medical Surgical unit, with a focus on telemetry and dysrhythmia management. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of the assignment. The position offers a flexible schedule with days shifts and a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days, 36.0 hours per week, every other weekend, with holidays as needed
• Required Qualifications: Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license, 2 years current Medical Surgical experience, telemetry experience, willingness to float to any Medical Surgical unit, Basic Dysrhythmia course completion (STRONGLY REQUIRED), Meditech Expanse experience (highly preferred), active American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications must be uploaded at profile submission, own vehicle required, and permanent address must be included in profile.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Meditech Expanse highly preferred
• Additional Information:
  • Candidates must be willing to float to any Medical Surgical unit
  • Travelers must be available for two holiday periods (Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day and surrounding days) and may not take all holidays off
  • Requests for time off must be noted and verified at upload; no requests after offer will be accepted
  • All scheduled interview dates and times of availability must be added to the profile and confirmed prior to submission
  • Travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
  • The facility requires the Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service (Nursing Pool) license to be uploaded with profile and all other certifications in hand at the time of profile upload
  • The traveler must include their perm address and all requests for rotations (RTO) in the profile
