Department/Unit Overview:

• 10 Bed Unit on the 2nd floor of the Sentara Heart Hospital
  
• Patient population includes: Cardiac patients (not surgical), pulmonary hypertension, heart attacks, heart failure, sepsis, and this unit is the MRT forthe Heart Hospital.
  

Education

• Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required
  

Certification/Licensure

• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
  
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
  
• ACLS
  
• NIH Stroke Scale
  

Experience

• Must have 2 or more years of recent acute care ICU hospital RN experience
