Planning Analyst

We’re currently seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented Planning Analyst to support an independent luxury women’s fashion brand in New York.

This is a project-based (2 weeks) , hybrid opportunity with onsite needs varying week to week. Candidates should be flexible to work in Manhattan as needed.

About the Role:

The initial focus will be on pulling and analyzing three years of historical sales and inventory data across approximately 15 styles. You’ll validate purchase orders, support production planning, and identify data discrepancies. The second phase of the project will focus more heavily on inventory control and management.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Pull and analyze three years of sales and inventory data.

• Review approximately 15 key styles and identify trends.
\n
• Review and validate purchase orders.
\n
• Support production planning and inventory needs.
\n
• Identify discrepancies across sales, inventory, and purchase order data.
\n
• Build and maintain Excel reports, trackers, and analysis.
\n
• Support inventory control and ongoing inventory management.
\n
• Improve visibility into inventory levels and future production needs.
\n
• Partner with internal teams to maintain accurate product and inventory data.
\n

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in planning, inventory analysis, allocation, merchandising analytics, or a related area.
\n
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
\n
• Experience working with sales, inventory, purchase order, and production data.
\n
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
\n
• Experience in fashion, apparel, retail, or luxury is preferred.
\n
• Shopify experience is a plus.
\n
• Zedonk experience is a plus.
\n
• Matrixify experience is a plus.
\n
• Familiarity with AI tools, including Claude, is advantageous.
\n
• Comfort working independently in a fast-paced project environment.
\n
• Flexibility to work onsite in Manhattan as needed.
