Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time opportunity in Merced County is tailored for a dynamic Occupational Therapist who thrives in an educational setting. Serving an itinerant role, you will support schools across the region, providing vital OT services that empower students to reach their full potential in and out of the classroom. Flexibility is key, as caseload details will be provided soon and the position welcomes both onsite and virtual (voco) candidates.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid California OT licensure and CTC (California Teaching Credential) required
• Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
• Proficiency in both in-person and teletherapy (voco) service delivery
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to adapt to different school environments and manage a varied caseload
• Organized, self-motivated, and able to travel between sites as part of an itinerant team

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy assessments and interventions for students as indicated by IEPs
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to support student learning and development
• Maintain accurate documentation and complete required reports in a timely manner
• Provide guidance to school staff regarding facilitated strategies, accommodations, and modifications
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute thoughtful, individualized recommendations
• Serve multiple sites within Merced County, adapting to the needs of each location
