Our high retention rate is proof that team members really enjoy working at Chick-fil-A.Food Prep Team Member Responsibilities:Prepare a variety of cold menu items, including salads, wraps, fruit cups, parfaits, and catering trays, while maintaining efficiency and safety around kitchen equipment.Ensure cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and prep area, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness at all times.Stay updated on new products introduced by Chick-fil-A and incorporate them into your food preparation.Wash and put away kitchen dishes to maintain a well-organized workspace.Complete assigned tasks to ensure consistency in product quality and guest experience, aligning with our brand, culture, and commitment to excellence.Communicate effectively with fellow team members and leaders, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.Stand for periods of up to 3.5 hours during your shift, demonstrating stamina and dedication to your responsibilities.Possess basic math and measurement skills to accurately portion ingredients.Maintain a sanitary and safe restaurant environment by performing tasks such as mopping, sweeping floors, removing trash, and caring for equipment.Comply with portion sizes, quality standards, and health inspection standards, ensuring adherence to EcoLab guidelines.Assemble, clean, maintain, and operate kitchen equipmentObtain a Food Handler Card within 30 days of hire to meet food safety requirementsQualifications and Requirements:Must be eligible to work in the United StatesMust have a source of reliable transportationAbility to handle all equipment, pans, pots, navigating shelving both high and lowWorks in hot, noisy and fast paced environmentConsistent and reliableLoves serving and helping othersAble to multi-taskWorks well independently and in a team environmentBe willing and able to work a flexible scheduleHave the ability to lift and carry up to 50lbsHave the ability to stand for long periods of timeBenefitsFlexible schedulePaid trainingEmployee discount
