About the Position

Florida Teleradiology Physician Locum Tenens 
100% Remote | Evening, Overnight & Weekend Coverage | Multi-Site ED & Inpatient Reading

Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Board Certified Diagnostic Radiologists for an established, fully remote teleradiology program supporting multiple hospitals across Florida. The program is expanding coverage across evening, overnight, and weekend shifts , giving physicians several schedule options while maintaining a consistent reading schedule.

This is a high-volume ED and inpatient practice with centralized workflow, established turnaround standards, and equipment provided for remote reading.

Schedule Options

• Mid Shift: 1:00 PM–10:00 PM
• Overnight: 9:00 PM–6:00 AM
• Overnight: 10:00 PM–6:00 AM
• Overnight: 11:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Overnight: 12:00 AM–8:00 AM
• Weekend coverage opportunities available
• Physicians must be able to provide at least 2 weekends of coverage per month
• Physicians maintain a consistent selected schedule rather than alternating between daytime and overnight coverage
• Current openings include dedicated weekend and seven-day overnight coverage needs

Reading Environment

• 100% remote teleradiology
• Emergency Department and inpatient studies
• Multi-hospital Florida coverage
• Studies read from a centralized master worklist
• Average productivity expectation of 8–10 RVUs per hour
• Remote workstation provided and shipped as needed
• McKesson PACS
• PowerScribe
• Epic EMR

Turnaround Expectations

• Stroke studies: 15 minutes or less
• Other STAT studies: 30 minutes or less
• Established Reading Room support for critical findings and physician-to-physician communication

Requirements

• Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology
• Appropriate active medical licensure for the Florida coverage
• Ability to interpret ED and inpatient studies efficiently in a remote environment
• Comfortable maintaining established STAT and stroke turnaround expectations
• Consistent availability within the selected evening, overnight, or weekend schedule
• Availability for at least 2 weekends per month
• DEA not required
