Responsibilities Layout, rigging, connecting, bolting and welding steel by following prints and instructions while guaranteeing all quality and safety standards are met. Read and follow blueprints, sketches and other instructions. Forklift operation for unloading and shaking out steel members. Showing up every day to ensure projects stay on schedule. Layout, cutting, installation, welding, and powder actuated fastening of steel deck. Helping newer Ironworkers learn the ins and outs of the trade. Qualifications Must be able to lift 80lbs and withstand the physical demands of erecting steel. Must be able to work at heights of 80 feet or more. Must be able to pass a pre‑employment drug screening for illegal and illicit substances. Welding experience. Pre‑interview test will be conducted.
