Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Operating and maintaining CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, etc.
2. Understanding specifications of the task at hand by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings, etc.
3. Translating instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.
4. Checking and maintaining machinery daily to ensure functionality.
5. Testing and adjusting finished products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
6. Setting up and operating manual machining tools.
7. Operating lathe and mill machines to produce precision parts to exact specifications.
8. Ensuring safety measures are always met and maintain a safe work environment.
9. Collaborating with a team of machinists and engineers to produce high-quality products.
10. Troubleshooting and resolving issues with machines or finished products.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Machinist in a manufacturing environment.
2. Proficient in using and maintaining CNC machines, manual machining tools, lathes, and mills.
3. Advanced knowledge in reading and interpreting blueprints and mechanical drawings.
4. Strong understanding of precision measurement tools.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. High level of mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot machine issues.
9. Strong commitment to quality, safety, and productivity.
10. High school diploma or equivalent. A degree from a technical school is preferred.
