Day 1 Benefits Coverage with low cost Medical, Vision, Dental Day 1 Paid-time Off and Vacation 4.5% Company Match 401(k) plan Competitive Compensation and Bonuses Company-paid Life and Disability Insurance Employee Stock Purchase Plan Training and Advancement Opportunities What You'll Do Log information into the computer system to document weight and description of materials in and out bound Accurately assign correct commodities and location for materials Work closely with accounting and raw materials to resolve scrap and ticket discrepancies Assist dispatch with pre-load trailers, including billet loads and weekend loads Divert scrap loads to the rail scale and communicate information during traffic overflow situations Ensure all backhauls are unloaded and accounted for with clear communication to the relieving shift Participates in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively upholds the CMC Safety Culture Work safely to prevent on the job injuries by always following safety rules and regulations including proper wearing of company PPE Ability to troubleshoot work related problems using job knowledge, experience, and by communicating with others Understand start up, shutdown, and emergency procedures Responsible for daily housekeeping duties including but not limited to immediate work area What You'll Need Minimum 1 year of experience in either an operations and/or manufacturing environment required Proficient in MS Office programs – Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint required. SAP experience a plus. Knowledge of different grades of scrap a plus Must be able to learn quickly and multitask Demonstrates dependability in attendance, work completion, and flexibility to meet business needs Ability to work with exposure to extreme temperatures, chemicals, dust fumes and mists, uneven surfaces, loud noise, elevated work areas, and confined spaces Some overtime will be requiredAbility to perform heavy manual work Push and pull up to 90 lbs and carry 50 lbs Ability to work as a team player in a fast paced multi‑discipline environment, with strong work ethic, attention to detail, organizational and listening skills Strong communication skills are required.
