Registered Nurse - OB/GYN

Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive nursing care to obstetric and gynecologic patients, ensuring adherence to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and coordinates activities of nursing staff while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

• Collects and assesses relevant patient health data related to obstetric and gynecologic conditions.
• Analyzes assessment information to determine diagnoses and care priorities.
• Develops and implements individualized care plans aiming to achieve optimal health outcomes.
• Coordinates with patients, families, and healthcare team members to deliver safe and effective care.
• Participates in discharge planning and provides education on health management and post-care instructions.
• Delegates tasks appropriately and supervises nursing staff to ensure efficient care delivery.

Qualifications:

• Holds a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Possesses at least two years of recent experience in obstetric or gynecologic nursing.
• Maintains current BLS certification from an approved vendor.
• Demonstrates strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Has a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) is required.
