Staffing Coordinator

The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Nursing Staffing Office and ensuring appropriate nursing personnel are available to meet patient-care needs across the organization. The coordinator works collaboratively with Nursing Leadership, Nursing Supervisors, Nurse Managers/Directors, Human Resources, Finance, Payroll, and clinical departments to maintain safe, efficient, and cost-effective staffing. The Staffing Coordinator monitors staffing levels across all nursing units, identifies current and anticipated staffing gaps, facilitates replacement coverage, maintains accurate staffing and scheduling records, and escalates unresolved staffing concerns to Nursing Administration. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree in healthcare administration, business, human resources, or related field preferred. Experience: Previous healthcare or hospital experience preferred. Previous staffing, scheduling, workforce management, payroll, or administrative experience strongly preferred.
