Command Center OperatorSecurity Engineers is a respected provider of contract security services, operating across multiple states. With our headquarters in Alabama and strategically located branch offices throughout our operational footprint, our company is currently experiencing an unprecedented expansion, opening exciting prospects for both the organization and our valued employees.Security Engineers is seeking dependable Command Center Operators to support safe and secure environments for our clients. Operators monitor critical security systems, dispatch emergency responses, process alerts, handle communications, and enforce site policies. This position requires strong multitasking, excellent communication, and the ability to remain calm while managing multiple security functions simultaneously.Job Skills / RequirementsValid Security Officer/Guard License or ability to obtain one.Valid driver's license and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets company approved driver standardsMust be at least 18 years old.Key Responsibilities:Command Center OperationsDispatch fire, medical, chemical, and traffic incident responses.Answer associate calls regarding lateness or absences and update internal systems.Respond to duress alarms and acknowledge card access alerts.Control and document access to client property.Prevent loss or damage due to fire, equipment issues, or safety hazards.Enforce client rules, regulations, and access requirements.Operate multiple software platforms concurrently.Patrol and SurveillanceMonitor access points and verify proper identification.Review camera systems and surveillance feeds for suspicious activity.Incident Response and ReportingRespond to alarms and emergencies following protocols.Maintain accurate logs of activities, incidents, and communications.Perform routine tasks such as unlocking/locking doors and monitoring equipment.Customer Service and Policy EnforcementAssist visitors and employees professionally.Enforce site-specific Post Orders and security protocols.Ensure compliance with SEI and client policies, including parking, smoking, and loitering rules.Required Skills and AbilitiesAbility to perform in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.Weekend availability.Strong situational awareness and problem-solving skills.Ability to remain calm during critical situations.Advanced computer skills; ability to use tablets and multiple software systems.Strong multitasking ability.Preferred SkillsExperience with Microsoft Office Suite.Minimum Physical Requirements With or Without Reasonable Accommodation· Ability to stand or sit for at least 1 hour without a break.Walk at least 1/2 mile without stopping.Education and ExperienceMinimum:High School Diploma or equivalent.Preferred:1+ Year of dispatch experience in a security, emergency response, or command center environment strongly preferred.1+ year of Military, Law Enforcement, or Security experience.2+ years of customer service experience.NOTE: Job responsibilities and requirements may change based on client or company needs.
