Pay Rate: Up to $60/hr. combined (taxable hourly + tax-free allowances for travel, housing, meals). Rates may vary and are subject to change.

Med Surg / Telemetry / PCU RN

- Shifts: 12hr 2 positions! Travel with a friend!!

Job Summary:

Provides direct care to patients in a general medical-surgical setting. Manages a variety of medical conditions, assists with post-operative recovery, performs assessments, administers medications, and ensures patient comfort and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Monitor vital signs and patient status.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care, wound care, and pain management.
• Administer medications and treatments, observing for reactions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with physicians and care teams.
• Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and lifestyle modifications.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
• Respond to emergencies and assist in life-saving procedures as needed.

Requirements:

• RN license in state of assignment. *Compact License Allowed **Must have taxable address outside of 50 miles from facility. **
• Minimum 2-year(s) exp.
• BLS, NIHSS, MOAB, and ACLS required
  
• Experience in medical-surgical units preferred.
• Strong clinical, assessment, and communication skills.

Work Environment & Demands:

• Will work every other weekend
• Hospital settings (Med-Surg units, post-op recovery, step-down).
  
• Physical demands include standing, lifting patients/equipment, and stress management.
