Elam Real Estate is growing, and we are looking for an energetic, relationship-driven recruiter to help us attract talented real estate agents throughout Middle Tennessee.

This is not a traditional desk recruiting position or a standard 9-to-5 job. We need someone who enjoys meeting people, attending events, building genuine relationships, creating opportunities, and confidently sharing what makes Elam Real Estate different.

The right person will be part salesperson, part networker, and part company ambassador. You will actively pursue agents, build a strong recruiting pipeline, and help prospective agents see how Elam Real Estate can support the growth of their business.

This is a full-time, in-person, community-facing position with a flexible schedule.

Recruiting opportunities, networking events, and industry functions may occasionally take place during evenings or weekends. The successful candidate will be visible, involved, and willing to build relationships outside traditional office hours.

• Annual base compensation

• Quarterly performance bonuses based on recruited and active agents

• Additional compensation opportunities based on the quality and production of recruited agents

• Clear recruiting goals with measurable opportunities to increase earnings

$50,000 - $150,000 yearly

• Identify and recruit newly licensed, developing, experienced, and productive real estate agents

• Consistently prospect through calls, texts, social media, referrals, events, and personal outreach

• Schedule and conduct recruiting appointments, career consultations, coffee meetings, lunches, and office visits

• Build relationships with agents who may not be ready to make an immediate move

• Confidently communicate Elam Real Estate’s culture, training, technology, lead opportunities, leadership, and agent support

• Ask meaningful questions to understand an agent’s current business, challenges, and future goals

• Handle objections and confidently ask qualified agents to join Elam Real Estate

• Create recruiting opportunities instead of waiting for candidates to come to us

• Become a visible representative of Elam Real Estate throughout the Middle Tennessee real estate community

• Attend association meetings, industry gatherings, continuing education classes, networking events, community functions, and other relevant events

• Build relationships with real estate schools, lenders, title companies, vendors, agents, team leaders, and other industry professionals

• Develop referral relationships that consistently introduce prospective agents to Elam Real Estate

• Help host career nights, recruiting events, networking opportunities, and other gatherings for prospective agents

• Look for creative ways to put Elam Real Estate in the rooms where real estate professionals gather

• Partner with our marketing team to create recruiting campaigns, social media content, videos, agent testimonials, and event promotions

• Be comfortable appearing on camera and representing Elam Real Estate online and in person

• Research competing brokerages and understand how to clearly position the Elam Real Estate opportunity

• Stay informed about changes, challenges, and opportunities within the real estate industry

• Share ideas that strengthen our recruiting message and increase our visibility in the real estate community

• Manage the recruiting pipeline using Courted and company tracking systems

• Maintain consistent and intentional follow-up with every recruiting prospect

• Track calls, conversations, appointments, follow-up activity, recruits, retention, and production

• Meet weekly and monthly activity, appointment, and recruiting goals

• Provide regular updates to leadership on recruiting progress, pipeline opportunities, and challenges

• Partner with company leadership to connect each recruited agent with the appropriate market leader and development path

• Help ensure newly recruited agents become engaged, supported, and productive members of Elam Real Estate

Our goal is to add seven net new agents each month while maintaining a strong focus on quality, culture, engagement, retention, and production.

Success is not measured by signatures alone. We want someone who recruits agents who become involved in the company, build their businesses, and remain part of Elam Real Estate.

This position will be accountable for both recruiting results and the quality of the agents brought into the company.

• A proactive salesperson who is comfortable pursuing opportunities and asking for commitments

• Strong knowledge of how real estate agents build their businesses, generate leads, earn commissions, and evaluate brokerage opportunities

• Real estate sales, brokerage leadership, agent recruiting, or real estate business development experience is strongly preferred

• A current or previous real estate license is a plus but is not required

• Candidates without real estate experience must have a proven record of success in outbound sales, business development, or relationship-driven recruiting

• Comfortable with outbound calls, personal outreach, follow-up, objection handling, and appointment setting

• Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills

• Disciplined enough to manage a pipeline and consistently meet measurable goals

• Comfortable working independently while remaining accountable to company leadership

• Comfortable using CRM systems, social media, video, and recruiting technology

• Familiarity with the Middle Tennessee real estate market and community is strongly preferred
