This contract opportunity, located in the Ypsilanti area, runs from August 31, 2026, through June 4, 2027, and offers the chance to collaborate with a diverse group of learners and professionals. Key Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan SLP license required (no SLP-CFs at this time)
• Comfortable working onsite with K-12 students
• Experience assessing and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in the school setting
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with educators, families, and fellow specialists
• Skilled in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Open to both full-time (37.5 hours/week) and part-time availability

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
• Develop targeted treatment plans and deliver direct therapy services
• Maintain clear, detailed progress documentation and comply with state/IDEA guidelines
• Collaborate with educational teams to integrate speech and language goals across academic settings
• Engage in regular communication with families and caregivers about student progress
• Contribute knowledgeably to IEP meetings, re-evaluations, and professional development activities
