Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct a variety of routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests, including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, while adhering to established guidelines.
• Assess test outcomes for precision, troubleshoot inconsistencies, and carry out preventative maintenance on laboratory instruments.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for laboratory testing as required.
• Document all laboratory procedures thoroughly, mentor new colleagues, and help maintain quality standards within the lab.
• Ensure a safe, tidy workspace while complying with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, paired with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within a year of joining the team.
• Maintain current certification for the duration of your employment.
