Hiring Mechanical Assemblers in Shippensburg, PA

Job Description

As an assembler, you will be responsible for producing components by assembling parts and subassemblies. You will use power equipment and wrenching techniques to assemble parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulics onto trucks. Your role will involve drilling holes for wires, hoses, and small parts, and operating tools such as torches, plasma cutters, and grinders to cut and shape parts.

Shifts Available:

1st shift Monday-Thursday 5am-3pm

2nd shift Monday-Thursday 4pm-2am

Pay Rate:

1st shift $17-$19.75/hour

2nd shift $18.75-$21.40/hour

$1,500 sign on bonus included

Responsibilities

• Produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies.
• Assemble parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulics onto trucks using power equipment and wrenching techniques.
• Drill holes for wires, hoses, and small parts.
• Operate tools such as torches, plasma cutters, and grinders to cut and shape parts.
• Position parts and subassemblies by using blueprints or reading measurements.
• Install various truck accessories.
• Stack completed subassemblies and parts up to 35 lbs.
• Train and work in various assembly areas in response to production demands.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and manufacturing equipment.
• Familiarity with mechanical assembly and general labor tasks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shippensburg, PA.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.40/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Shippensburg,PA.
