NorthEast Provider Solutions Inc. · Info Technology-WMC HealthValhalla, NYFinance/Info SystemsFull TimeDayM-F 8:30a-5pJob Summary:The Network Director of Enterprise Integration, Infrastructure & Core Networking is a high-impact leadership role responsible for the strategic planning, architecture, implementation, and operational oversight of WMCHealth enterprise integration services, server and virtualization platforms, data center infrastructure, cloud connectivity, and core networking. This leader establishes a coordinated, enterprise-wide technology roadmap and ensures that clinical, financial, and operational systems are supported by secure, resilient, scalable, and highly available infrastructure across the WMCHealth network This role is critically pivotal to the successful enterprise-wide Go-Live of Epic EHR and Workday ERP, as well as long-term optimization and infrastructure modernization. The Network Director will lead the transition from legacy interface methods to a modern, API-led architecture while directing the planning and lifecycle management of enterprise compute, virtualization, storage, cloud, LAN, WAN, wireless, and data center networking services. The Director partners with executive, clinical, cybersecurity, application, and regional technology leaders to align investments, capacity, resiliency, and operational performance with WMCHealth strategic priorities and patient care needs.Responsibilities: Strategic & Operational OversightIntegration Roadmap: Define and execute the long-term strategy for enterprise-wide data exchange, moving WMCHealth toward a highly interoperable, service-oriented architecture.Lifecycle Management: Oversee the full development lifecycle of all interfaces—from initial requirements gathering and mapping to testing, deployment, and 24/7 production support.Governance: Establish and enforce rigorous data integration standards, naming conventions, and security protocols to ensure data integrity across all platforms.Enterprise Infrastructure & Core NetworkingInfrastructure Strategy and Roadmap: Develop and execute a multi-year enterprise roadmap for server, virtualization, storage, cloud, data center, and core networking services across all WMCHealth hospitals, ambulatory locations, and affiliated entities.Core Network Leadership: Provide strategic and operational oversight of enterprise LAN, WAN, wireless, internet, data center networking, network segmentation, and inter-facility connectivity.Server and Platform Leadership: Direct planning, architecture, lifecycle management, standardization, capacity, performance, and availability for enterprise compute, operating system, virtualization, and cloud platforms.Resiliency and Continuity: Establish high-availability, backup, disaster recovery, redundancy, and business continuity requirements for mission-critical infrastructure and network services.Architecture and Standards: Define enterprise reference architectures, engineering standards, technology patterns, and lifecycle policies that reduce risk and improve consistency across the WMCHealth network.Monitoring and Service Management: Advance proactive monitoring, automation, incident response, problem management, change management, and continuous service improvement for infrastructure and network operations.Cybersecurity Alignment: Partner with the CISO and security teams to incorporate Zero Trust, segmentation, vulnerability remediation, identity controls, and regulatory requirements into infrastructure and network designs.Vendor and Financial Management: Lead technology evaluations, vendor relationships, contract planning, capital forecasting, operating budgets, and investment recommendations for enterprise infrastructure and networking.Epic & Workday Implementation LeadershipEpic Integration Lead: Serve as the primary technical lead for Epic Bridges and Interconnect, ensuring seamless clinical data exchange with ancillary systems, HIEs, and medical devices.Workday ERP Connectivity: Direct the integration strategy for Workday, ensuring payroll, supply chain, and HR data flows accurately between the ERP and internal/external third-party vendors.Go-Live Readiness: Accountability for the rigorous "Unit," "System," and "Integrated" testing phases required to ensure zero-fail performance during the 2026-2027 transition window.Technical Subject Matter ExpertiseInteroperability Standards: Act as the enterprise expert in HL7 (v2/v3), FHIR, and EDI standards.API Strategy: Lead the shift toward REST/SOAP APIs and microservices to facilitate modern web-based integrations.Interface Engine Management: Provide executive-level oversight of the interface engine (e.g., Cloverleaf, Corepoint, or Rhapsody), ensuring high availability and scalability.Leadership & PartnershipTeam Development: Lead a high-performing team of integration engineers and analysts, fostering a culture of technical excellence and clinical empathy.Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with the CDAO, CISO, and clinical leadership to ensure integration projects align with data analytics and security requirements.Leadership, Planning & GovernanceEnterprise Leadership: Serve as a senior member of the Core Technology leadership team and provide clear direction, accountability, and performance expectations for managers, architects, engineers, analysts, and technical partners.Strategic Planning: Translate organizational priorities into annual operating plans, multi-year technology roadmaps, staffing plans, service objectives, and measurable infrastructure outcomes.Team Development: Recruit, coach, retain, and develop high-performing technical teams while promoting succession planning, cross-training, professional development, and a culture of operational excellence.Stakeholder Partnership: Collaborate with regional CIOs, clinical leaders, application owners, facilities, cybersecurity, finance, and executive leadership to prioritize technology investments and resolve enterprise risks.Governance and Reporting: Present infrastructure strategy, service performance, capacity, risks, dependencies, financial needs, and modernization recommendations to executive leadership and governance committees.Major Program Leadership: Direct infrastructure readiness, cutover planning, technical dependencies, and stabilization activities for Epic, Workday, data center, cloud, network, and other enterprise transformation programs.Qualifications/Requirements:Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressive information technology experience in a complex enterprise environment, preferably within a large healthcare system, is required.Minimum 7 years of leadership experience overseeing enterprise infrastructure, server, networking, cloud, data center, integration, or interoperability teams, required.Demonstrated experience leading geographically distributed teams and technology services across multiple hospitals, clinical locations, or business entities, required.Proven experience developing enterprise infrastructure roadmaps, capital plans, operating budgets, lifecycle strategies, and major modernization programs, required.Experience leading large-scale EHR, ERP, data center, cloud, server, or network transformation initiatives, preferred.Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering, required.Master’s degree, preferred.Licenses / Certifications: Epic Bridges certification or Workday Integration certification, strongly preferredOther: N/ASpecial Requirements: Architectural Thinking: The ability to see the "big picture" of how a single data point in Epic impacts a financial record in Workday.Crisis Management: Remains calm and analytical during high-stakes cutovers or system outages.Precision Communication: Ability to explain complex "middleware" concepts to non-technical executive stakeholders.EHR/ERP Pedigree: Proven track record of leading at least one large-scale Epic implementation and/or a major Workday ERP integration project.Deep Technical Stack: * Expert-level command of HL7 and FHIR frameworks.Strong experience with API Management (Apigee, Mulesoft, or similar).Mastery of enterprise interface engines.Enterprise Infrastructure Expertise: Strong knowledge of enterprise servers, virtualization, storage, backup, disaster recovery, cloud computing, and data center operations.Core Networking Expertise: Strong knowledge of enterprise routing, switching, wireless, WAN, data center networking, network segmentation, and high-availability design.Strategic and Financial Acumen: Ability to develop business cases, multi-year investment plans, capital and operating budgets, and executive-level technology recommendations.Operational Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead through major incidents, technology cutovers, organizational change, competing priorities, and 24/7 healthcare operational requirements.
