Make Ready Technician – Houston, TX
Location: Houston, TX
Position: Apartment Make Ready Technician
Schedule: Full-Time
Start Date: Immediate
Certified Apartment Staffing is seeking an experienced Make Ready Technician for a multifamily apartment community in Houston. We are looking for a dependable, hands-on technician who takes pride in quality work and can efficiently prepare vacant apartments for new residents.
Responsibilities:
- Complete apartment make-ready turns
- Perform painting, drywall repairs, caulking, and touch-ups
- Replace and repair fixtures, doors, hardware, and other apartment components
- Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs
- Assist with appliance installation and repairs
- Clean and prepare units to meet property move-in standards
- Complete punch-list items and ensure units are ready on schedule
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Assist the maintenance team with additional property needs as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous apartment/multifamily make-ready experience REQUIRED
- Strong knowledge of apartment turns and general maintenance
- Experience with painting, drywall, plumbing, electrical, and basic repairs
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional attitude and strong work ethic
