They will ensure credit goals are met, drive customer satisfaction, develop associates, and achieve an efficient work environment. Through effective leadership, the Area Credit Manager will cultivate a positive culture and ensure reasonable return on receivable investment for the markets they lead in Nashville and middle TennesseePrimary ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the management of the credit function for a branch or a network of branches within a market.Executes credit strategy at the local level.Regular branch visitation to ensure alignment with sales leadership objectives.Builds customer relationships by spending time in front of customers and in the branch/branches.Manage and lead credit associates in their respective branches, drives a customer first focus and supports a high-performance culture aligned with company values.Coach and develop Credit Managers/Credit Specialists reporting into them.5+ years experience in professional credit managementProven success record in building engaged & motivated teamsPossess strong credit acumen & financial acumenCredit Strategy ExecutionReturn on Receivable InvestmentCustomer Negotiation & RetentionTeam Leadership & DevelopmentEfficiency | Process ImprovementCBA or equivalent professional designationAt Ferguson, we care for each other.
