Batch Maker/Mixer - Swing Shift Location: Woodland, CA Job Type: Full-Time Shift: 2pm-10:30pm, training hours: 6am-2:30pm but varies Pay: $20/hr, $19/hr while training About the Role We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Batch Maker to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately mixing ingredients according to formulations and specifications to support extrusion production operations. This position is ideal for candidates with manufacturing experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are committed to safety, quality, and teamwork. Key Responsibilities Production Operations Mix ingredients according to product formulations and specifications. Ensure a continuous supply of blended ingredients to keep production running efficiently. Perform equipment sanitation, cleaning, and changeovers according to company procedures. Return unused ingredients to designated staging areas. Empty feed bins and garbage bins at the end of each shift. Sort broken pallets and bale cardboard for disposal or recycling. Operate equipment safely and properly at all times. Work overtime as needed to meet production demands. Qualifications Required High School Diploma or GED. Experience in a manufacturing environment. Equipment or extrusion operator experience Basic math skills. Skills & Abilities Strong attention to detail. Problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Commitment to continuous learning and improvement. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Frequent use of hands and arms for handling materials and equipment. Ability to climb stairs and work at heights up to 40 feet. Ability to occasionally lift and move up to 55 pounds. Ability to work in varying temperatures and manufacturing conditions. Work Environment This position works in a manufacturing environment that may be: Hot, cold, dusty, and noisy. Fast-paced and production-driven.
