Desired Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in California (required)
• BSN preferred
• Experience in an acute care setting (preferred)
• Certifications required: CPR/BLS from AHA or ARC, ACLS, PALS, NRP

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to individual patients or groups in the emergency room
• Supervise and guide assigned nursing staff and delegate duties as appropriate
• Collect and assess patient data, develop and implement care plans, and regularly evaluate patient progress
• Coordinate interprofessional care delivery to promote optimal outcomes and a safe, healing environment
• Provide health education and support for patients, family members, and team members
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
• Uphold standards for safety and ensure compliance with vaccination requirements
