Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, encompassing physical assessments and comprehensive medical history analyses
• Aid in diagnosing surgical conditions by accurately interpreting imaging results and laboratory tests
• Work collaboratively with surgeons to craft and implement personalized surgical treatment plans for patients
• Offer direct intraoperative support, including preparing operating rooms, ensuring patient positioning, and managing surgical instruments during procedures
• Provide outstanding pre- and post-operative care, administering medications, managing wound care, planning patient discharges, and educating patients and their families

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations focused on surgical practice is highly preferred

Certifications

• Valid and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) for practice as a Physician Assistant
