Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teaching credential (appropriate for assignment grade level)
- Previous experience teaching or supporting students with special needs in educational settings
- Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Adaptability and creativity when designing differentiated lessons and supports
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and respectful classroom for all learners
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s strengths and needs
- Deliver direct instruction to students individually or in small groups, adapting curriculum as required
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, related service providers, and school staff
- Track and report student progress; participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences
- Employ evidence-based interventions and positive behavioral support strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow district and state compliance guidelines
- Create a nurturing, organized, and safe learning environment where all students feel motivated to achieve
