Qualifications and Experience Desired:

• Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Previous experience in school-based OT settings, especially with adolescent populations
• Strong communication abilities with students, families, and staff
• Knowledge of IEP development and delivering therapy aligned with educational goals
• Adaptability working with diverse needs in a dynamic educational environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ needs and design personalized intervention plans
• Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy to support students’ functional and academic performance
• Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and families to implement strategies in classrooms and at home
• Document progress and maintain accurate, timely records per educational requirements
• Travel between the middle and high school to provide consistent and coordinated care
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide insight into student progress and recommendations
