Principal, Insurance Brokerage About the Role – Principal, Insurance Brokerage, North America The applicant should have experience in advising insurance broker client executives, both business and IT, and experience leading teams for digital transformation, process reimagination, platform modernization programs, AI, and internal/external consulting engagements. Applicants should have some of the following experiences in the brokerage industry: 360‑degree experience across the brokerage value chain including prospecting, submissions, loss cost & exposure analysis. Functional areas: submission management, carrier management, risk management programs, policy renewals, reinsurance, claims and TPA. Broker integration with carriers, agents, and reinsurers. Digital transformation or modernization programs or experience in transformation. Legacy transformation, and digitization of services across the brokerage value chain. Business operations in problem identification, analysis, and recommendation – analysis of current state, root‑cause analysis, developing insights, identifying solutions, and designing future state. Process reimagination, process optimization, change management, design thinking techniques. Additional Consulting Responsibilities Client Relationship and Development: Leads team interactions with clients, including senior levels; anticipates and proactively addresses client needs; earns client respect and appreciation. Client Delivery: Leads client delivery teams; manages projects and drives them to completion. Value and Expertise: Establishes and concentrates on a focus area; contributes thought leadership and IP in that area. People Development and Learning: Mentors and develops consultants; ensures they have the needed skills; meets regularly; helps set realistic targets and development plans. Consulting Behaviours: Builds personal brand; leads and mentors others; invests in junior consultant development; grows network outside of consulting; leverages relationships to enhance client solutions and identify opportunities; adapts approach to situations; stays abreast of market developments; proactively learns new skills. Leadership and Firm Development: Leads delivery teams; provides guidance, motivation, and course correction; supports innovative thinking; understands business drivers; represents the firm through appropriate marketing materials; plays key role in practice or firm‑building activities; takes responsibility for firm building deliverables. Sales: Supports partners in pursuit and proposal work; identifies opportunities and raises them to leadership. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required. Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience with 2 years in comparable consulting services. Ability to multitask, engage stakeholders, plan effectively, and consistently achieve operational goals. Excellent relationship‑building abilities.
