An established companion animal practice is seeking a Veterinary Medical Director to lead its clinical team while continuing to provide hands-on patient care. Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality medical and surgical care to patients
• Lead and support the veterinary team in maintaining strong clinical standards
• Mentor and develop associate veterinarians
• Partner with hospital leadership to support operational and medical goals
• Foster a collaborative, accountable, and positive team culture
• Maintain accurate medical records and uphold regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree
• Active veterinary license in good standing
• Demonstrated leadership or interest in a leadership role
• Strong clinical, communication, and mentorship skills
• Commitment to patient-centered, high-quality care
