Survey Manager

Overview POSITION OVERVIEW: As a Survey Manager at Gonzalez Strength & Associates, an LJA Company, you will be responsible for the daily management of Project Managers and multiple survey technicians and support staff in the Pipelining Projects. Responsibilities Responsible for supervision of business and project operations in the Florida Survey department. Supervises budget, client relations and business development. Directly supervises the daily activities of the Florida Survey department, including project time and cost estimates. Responsible for overseeing manpower and project projections. Establish annual business plan with the President and Vice President. Establish office objectives and group plans; collaborate with Project Managers to determine timeframes, budgets, staffing, and project schedules. Balance staffing and workload; prioritize long-term resources; organize project teams; achieve financial objectives. Analyze team and group financial performance; initiate corrective actions; report results to management. Develop project plans and objectives; assist with developing project proposals as needed; maintain executive-level client relationships; respond to project inquiries. Serve as liaison between client and project team members; research project information; utilize AutoCAD and other related software as needed. Communicate with other survey staff; provide guidance to team members.
