Conduct evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric clients utilizing respected assessments and observational methods.

Craft tailored therapy plans to meet both immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives.

Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions targeting areas such as communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.

Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to develop comprehensive care approaches.

Provide education for patients and their families to reinforce progress beyond therapy sessions.

Participate in the occasional inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions to ensure seamless continuity of care.

Keep detailed and current documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational standards.

Engage with professional development opportunities and stay informed about advancements in the field.

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.

Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Active state licensure as a Speech Language Therapist.

Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is necessary within one month of employment.

Expertise in evidence-based treatment techniques suitable for various age groups, along with a thorough understanding of both developmental and acquired disorders of speech, language, and swallowing.

Exceptional interpersonal skills to ensure effective communication with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Adept at modifying therapy approaches to accommodate diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.

Strong clinical judgement coupled with proactive problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation protocols.
