Description

• Deliver one-on-one speech therapy interventions focused on various aspects including communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
• Engage collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to formulate cohesive care strategies.
• Provide education to patients and their families, empowering them to continue support even beyond clinical settings.
• Occasionally engage in inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring a seamless continuum of care.
• Adhere to thorough and timely documentation practices compliant with state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Stay informed about advancements in the field via continuing education and collaboration with peers.

Education

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), in case you have not yet acquired ASHA certification.

Certifications

• Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.

• Proficiency in evidence-based practices for individuals across all age groups, with a deep understanding of developmental as well as acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
